Pokerspil er populært

Der er rigtig mange mennesker der er begyndt, at spille poker og det må betyde at det populære kortspil ikke er en døgnflue.

Det er vigtigt, at man ikke blot starter med at engagere sig indenfor pokerspil før man har 110% styr på reglerne.

Vi anbefaler, at man kigger sig godt omkring på nettet og på biblioteket og låner pokerbøger der beskriver de mest normale regler og derved sikre man sig stort set gratis viden omkring pokerspil og anden form for kortspil.

Hvis man stadig ikke føler sig sikker kan det være en god ide, at droppe tanken omkring, at blive en ekspert til pokerspil og måske blot sidde og spille krig, kalaha eller et andet kedeligt spil.

The World Series of Poker is a big deal every year, a chance for poker pros and amatures alike to make money and chase glory, and some players won’t pass up on that chance for anything, even their health. Paul Clark, a well known poker pro that goes by the nickname “Eskimo”, was suffering from the heat in the poker tent and collapsed, but returned to play. The next day, inside the air conditioned poker room, he again collapsed, this time twice, but insisted on staying the course.

African Poker Tournament a Success

Coming to an end was the ninth All Africa Poker Tournament, an event that many players were looking forward to, and 120 showed up to compete for an R3 million prize pool. A whole R1 million was reserved for the top prize, which went to 26-year-old Claude Sacks as well as a seat in the 2007 World Series of Poker Main Event. The event was filmed and will be broadcast on the All Africa Poker Channel.

Pokerbøger findes der mange af og der findes nok nogle rigtig gode bøger… men ved en søgning på biblioteket viser det sig, at der er op til 3ugers ventetid på at få lov, at låne en simpel pokerbog ?

Ja det er rigtigt hvis du skal låne pokerbøger kan der være en lang ventetid helt op til 3 uger.. det er da total fantastisk eller er det bare ufedt, at der er alt for lang ventetid.

Det er selvfølgelig også muligt at købe bøgerne via nettet - men lån dem på biblioteket det er gratis.

European Poker Tour Season Four Schedule

The fourth season of the European Poker Tour will begin this August in Barcelona, Spain, with bigger buy ins. The new buy ins, comparable to the main event at the World Series of Poker, shouldn’t reduce the fields since they are already set at a fixed number of seats according to the EPT. Big Plans from Everest Poker Qualifiers for Japan Cup

Relative newcomers to the game are making waves in the qualifying rounds of online poker room Everest Poker’s Japan Cup event. The May 10th qualifier, alternative0, has only eight months of experience, but that isn’t stopping him from planning big. If he wins the Japan Cup’s main event he plans on using the $20k in prize money to buy in to the main event of the World Series of Poker.

UK Poker Clubs Association Files Suit

The UK Poker Clubs Association (UKPCA) is prepared to go to war over an unsuccessful legal challenge by the British Casino Association recently, filing suit against the government’s upcoming legislation. The new Gambling Act, primed to begin this September, may force poker clubs out of business according to the UKPCA, which represents 720,000 poker players in the UK, as well as 13 clubs. The legislation hinders poker clubs from making money according to the UKPCA, which launched a High Court challenge on the matter.

West Virginia Gets Poker Tables

A split vote in two counties in West Virginia has led to two different courses of action for the gaming industry, as some parties move to make room for poker tables and others wonder if they are going to be able to keep their doors open for much longer. The Wheeling Island Racetrack and Gaming Center in Ohio County are on the lucky side of the vote, making space for poker tables in a hurry thanks to the vote of 2 to 1 in favor of table games. Also showing increased activity is the West Virginia Northern Community College, which offers courses on dealing table games.
